Aidan Applegarth was formerly a senior Commercial Banker with practical experience of building up a successful business in different environments. He has advised sole-traders, SMEs, multi-nationals and governments across Europe and Asia Pacific. He holds an MBA with distinction from Warwick Business School.
Aidan’s experience extends to successful team building and management as well as to the practicalities of running a viable commercial business. He offers a balanced and rational approach to mentoring established owners and managers as well as seedbed entrepreneurs. Aidan has been a mentor for UniSdirect at the University of Surrey.
Mike Applegarth has been a training professional for over twenty years. He is author of How to take a training audit, and co-author of the Project Management Pocketbook, the Empowerment Pocketbook, and The Call Centre Pocketbook. He and Aidan have collaborated on a management textbook Leading Empowerment (Chandos, 2006, ISBN 1-84334-143-3) - a practical guide to sustainable change.
Mike has designed and presented training programmes for multi-national firms, SMEs and charities. He has been particularly successful in communication and team building and in improving customer service for telesales and client facing roles. He also prepares individuals and teams for competence-based performance standards within the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) framework. |
